From the simple premise that “every child deserves the best possible start to life” the Mother Teresa Memorial School – Telav is leading the way by developing the most sophisticated teaching and community engagement initiative in education. A particular initiative of the school is the “Learn Play way” where children’s are enrolled in a Toy Library absolutely free and can take home various types of toys which accelerate their learning process, promote self confidence and improve the capacity to handle new concepts. It follows that the child will be better able to face school and better able to absorb the learning opportunities offered by school.
How We Work
We aspire to groom children to give their best for all and to lead with wisdom and compassion in every sphere of activity.
Our Vision
- To equip our students with intellectual knowledge and moral values, developing them as a person of competence, compassion and commitment.
- To create a school climate where values of love, freedom and justice are experienced and lived by all.
- To promote sensitivity to diverse religious, cultures and ethnic groups in our nation by mutual respect and harmony.
- To educate those children in our society who are economically, socially and culturally less privileged.
Our school follows a holistic approach in teaching.
- Activity based Method
- Project based Method
- Interactive Methods
We emphasize on teaching ‘how to understand and learn’ in the simplest way.
Smart classes convert an ordinary class-room into an interactive learning experience using techniques like smart boards and digital learning. We make use of the smart board in all the subjects. With the use of smart classes we allow our students to question, evaluate, create, communicate and discover. Smart classes make class-room session very interesting and interactive. It makes learning enjoyable experience for students, thereby improving their academic performance.
In Mother Teresa memorial School, smart classes are a regular feature of the time-table from class I onwards.
Emphasis is laid on the inculcation of moral values and spiritual awareness in our students so that they can go out into the world and spread the ideals of universal brotherhood, making the world a better place to live.
Parents can interact with the teachers once in a week to know the progress the child is making. Once every term a combined parent-teacher meeting is held to discuss about the various strategies to improve the teaching-learning process.
